A Twitch bot made using TwitchIO which displays information obtained from the WebNowPlaying Compaion browser extension.

Installation

0. Add WebNowPlaying Compaion to your browser

1. Install Python (version >= 3.9)

2. Download the repository contents

3. Get a Twitch Access Token. (Visit Token Generator for more information)

4. Rename config.sample.json to config.json and edit as required

5. Run python run.py

If you wish to use this bot for Spotify too, have a look at this guide.

Updating

In order to update, simply pull from GitHub or redownload the repository (preserving your config file)

Uninstallation

Want to uninstall? Simply delete the files for the bot.
